Charlie Brooks is best known as the feisty Janine Butcher in the BBC1 soap Eastenders. She played the role for 5 whole years before deciding to pursue other acting roles. Although she will be re-appearing sometime during 2008 for her on screen Dad's ( Frank Butcher ) funeral.
Originally from Barmouth in Wales, Charlie has always enjoyed acting, drama and dance from the young age of 7 and by the time she was a teenager she was adamant that she wanted to become an actress.
Charlie has also released an exercise dvd called, ' before and after workout,' that she used to help get rid of her baby bulge, after the birth of her child with long term partner Tony Truman.
She has admitted in the past to being a great admirer of actress Kate Winslet and singer Madonna.
